Refresh Lauderdale will be making use of the White Table Foundation this Thursday for a little networking event. Instead of the usual speaker or panel discussion that Refresh is known for, we will be showcasing the new WTF space as the tech and creative hub of Fort Lauderdale. This event is open to anyone involved or who wants to get involved in the tech/web/creative/artistic worlds. It will be a great time to relax and meet other like-minded people in similar fields and, in true Refresh style, we will provide pizza and some drinks.
Normally, after Refresh Lauderdale, every one meets up at Samba room for a post-meeting drink, but since a)Samba Room closed and b)alcohol is allowed at WTF, we are encouraging those who would like to drink to just BYOB to WTF. Nerds + alcohol always equals a good time.
The event is this Thursday, September 2nd from 7:30PM to 9:30PM-ish. Afterwards, anyone interested in more food or drinking can stroll right outside to Las Olas to continue on the night.
Parking is located in the parking garage on SE 2nd Ct (one street North and parallel to Las Olas). The parking garage has signs for Trata, Asia Bay, and Tuscan Grill. If the garage is filled, there is metered parking along Las Olas as well as some free parking on the street on SE 12th avenue.
