We have a lot of wall space at the White Table Foundation and we’ve been dying to get something on it. Thanks to our first featured artist, Rachel Henriques, we’ve got some of that space covered with large abstract works.
From RachelHenriques.com
Rachel began her interest in art at an early age growing up in the culturally vibrant environment of Kingston. She started her formal art training in Toronto, Canada at the Ontario College of Art. During this period as an art student her works were published as the covers of two novels by an independent Canadian printing press. Rachel obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a major in painting at the Maryland Institute, College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland graduating Cum Laude in 1991. She moved to South Florida in 1995 and worked as a commercial artist, creating public murals in New York City and Miami Beach Florida for several high-net-worth clients. Her works are represented in private collections internationally.
She maintains a studio in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
…And now WTF has five pieces of Rachel’s work hanging in our space!
