Working on Las Olas

We’ve established that Las Olas Boulevard is a wonderful place to enjoy yourself.  But what’s it like to work here?

Let’s start with the White Table Foundation itself.

  • You’ll be working in a light and airy room with a view of the canal, palm trees and our gorgeous deck.
  • We have a beautiful conference room which is available to you.
  • You’ll benefit from the advantage of a Las Olas address – the space always impresses clients due to its location and charm.
  • Work on your laptop or make your calls from our large, sunny deck. If you’re talking to an important client, try not to yell “Wow, a manatee is going by!”
  • Have the advantage of being able to offer your clients our fabulous space for video- or photo-shoots.
  • A short walk away, you’ll find a post office, FexEx facilities and all the support businesses you need.
  • Offer your visiting clients free parking in our covered parking lot.
  • Exhibit your work on our pure white walls.
  • Collaborate with other White Table members.
  • Entertain your clients on our deck or to lunch or coffee in one of our local restaurants, bars, sidewalk cafes or bakeries.
  • If you’re available for freelance work, create your own page on our website. Join our database of available freelance professionals.
  • Hold client appreciation events on our deck.
  • Take advantage of local delivery services for just about any sort of food you can imagine.
  • Enjoy free access to seminars and other events.

That’s the sensible stuff. In addition, you can:

  • Spend an hour or two at the beach between projects.
  • Laugh at the mad English people at TSDG.
  • Play beer pong on our deck.
  • Enjoy the parties, exhibitions and events we hold on a regular basis.
  • Come to work by kayak; you can moor right outside.
  • Enjoy the local nightlife.
  • Take your white table onto the deck and work there.
  • Use our kitchen to whip up a tasty lunch.
  • Hold a dinner party on our deck.
  • Participate in local Las Olas events such as our artwalk, the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival, the thrice-yearly Art Fairs, Clueless on Las Olas, Christmas on Las Olas and dozens of other events.
  • Visit our local attractions such as the Museum of Art | Fort Lauderdale, the Museum of Dicovery and Science, the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
  • See indie and foreign films at Cinema Paradiso, our local arthouse cinema.
  • Hunt ghosts at our historic home, the Stranahan House. (Ghost tours every Sunday – regular tours every day).
  • Make the most of the free or discounted tickets we often have available to local events, movies and exhibitions.
  • Take part in Las Olas Twitter contests and draws.
  • Benefit from our many years on Las Olas to find out THE best places to go.
