You might have been having a coffee in Starbucks and seen legions of self-employed people taking advantage of their free wifi and thought “That’s all very well but I have an office”. Or maybe you work from Starbucks and don’t have an office. Think don’t think you need one?

Well, you never know when you might need to use our facilities. When? Here are a few examples:

• If your office is moving to another location, don’t let this interrupt your work. Sure, you can work from home but what about entertaining clients? Holding client meetings? And can you really work at home with the kids and the dogs requiring your attention every five minutes?
• The same thing applies if your office is being redecorated or renovated. You can’t work there, but you can work here! Remember you can meet your clients here, carry on with your work, use the conference room, our lounge, our gorgeous deck – all our facilities are open to you. And you’ll be right on Las Olas Boulevard, which is bound to impress your clients. Take them to lunch at one of the many restaurants just a stone’s throw away.
• Our location is a great and convenient place for holding interviews. Candidates can wait in our lounge and everyone can make the most of our coffee, tea and catering facilities. Use our reception desk in the foyer too to greet your visitors.
• Sometimes, you just have to get away from your office to think clearly. What with the phone ringing, colleagues interrupting you, staff needing your advice and attention … it’s amazing you get anything done at all! Use the space at the White Table Foundation for when you need to get away from those everyday distractions.
• If you’re having a meeting with people from out of town, your office might not be the best location. We are just a few minutes by taxi from the Fort Lauderdale airport. Don’t have taxi drivers and people in rental cars who are unfamiliar with the area looking for your obscurely-situated office miles from the airport. Just tell them ‘Las Olas’. What’s more, after the meeting what better place for them to have fun? They’ll remember your meeting!
• When you’re meeting potential investors, it’s important to impress. A modern, waterfront conference room in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s finest street certainly impresses.
• Our location is perfect for parties and events. The deck is a wonderful evening venue. Media parties, customer appreciation events, product launches … any excuse for a party. And we have all the catering facilities you need right here on Las Olas.
• Most websites feature at least one video these days, Videos are a great way to get your message across. If your offices aren’t quite attractive enough – ours are! If you don’t have a company to create your videos, we can arrange quotes for you from our associate companies.
• The same applies to photoshoots. If your own premises aren’t photogenic enough, our deck, our conference room, our lounge and Las Olas Boulevard certainly are. And remember that we are just a few minutes from the beach – a great center of operations.
• Exhibitions space is also available. If you need to showcase a product, check out our pristine white walls. Arrange a buffet from one of our local restaurants and hey presto, you have a wonderful showcase for your products or services.
• If you’re planning to train staff, this is a great place to do it. Use our projector in the conference room or use our large main room. Staff can take a breather during extensive training just by slipping out of our glass doors and onto the deck.
• It may be that your staff need a motivational day.  Take them out of their normal environment and into ours. Spend the morning with them in our conference room. We can arrange for lunch to be provided from one of our local restaurants or bakeries – set your own budget. After your afternoon motivation activities, your staff can enjoy everything Las Olas Boulevard has to offer.
• Sales training. Use the projector in our conference room to show charts and graphs. Discuss future sales strategies. Enjoy a buffet lunch on the deck, in the conference room or in our lounge. After your sales meeting, and after a cocktail on the deck, take your salesforce to a Las Olas restaurant for dinner – we will arrange the reservation for you. There are four fabulous restaurants just a few steps away – or venture a little further afield on the boulevard. There’s something to suit all tastes and budgets – we can advise you on what’s best for you.

Are you looking for the ideal place for a photoshoot or videoshoot? You’ve found it.

We’ve had several here over the last few years and it’s not hard to see why. I guess that our first major advantage is our location. We’re right on Las Olas with all the photogenic opportunities it offers. What’s more, we’re just about a mile from the beach – go on, just tell me what better base camp you could have.

Within steps, there are incredible restaurants, stores and galleries which provide the perfect backdrop. And of course, a historic house, museums, riverfront parks, luxury yachts … what more do you want?

Well, how about a private and stunning waterfront deck? You’ll need full changing and catering facilities too. We have those.

I have to admit that we do tend to gloat a bit when we hear about cold weather in other parts of the country. We’re a bit inclined to gaze out at the palm trees and sunshine and think “ha!”

A bit cruel of us really, I know. But if you’re in need of some sun, then it’s as easy as one, two, three. Well, four…

One: Check a few of those bargain air tickets sites and find yourself a cheap flight to Florida.

Two: Call that guy you met at that party that time who said “Hey, if ever you’re in Florida, I’ve got a spare room”. OK, he’d had a little bit too much wine at the time but what the hell.

Three: Get in touch with us at the White Table and reserve your sunny, window-side table.

Four:  Throw your laptop, phone, t-shirts, shorts and flip flops into a bag and head for the airport.

There. Easy wasn’t it?

Spend a week or two working and having fun on the famous Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. Enjoy the gorgeous Florida weather. Go to the beach. Get a tan. Drink tropical drinks in a waterfront bar. Mingle with those lovely Floridians of the opposite sex. Play beer pong on our deck. Come to work by boat. And at the same time, keep your clients happy by working at the White Table Foundation as your base of operations.

Finally, call all your friends who are digging their cars out of snowdrifts and say “ha!”
